Tumbling
Xtreme Gymnastics offers the safest and most advanced tumbling program in the nation. With its nationally and internationally recognized staff, Xtreme Gymnastics offers the most advanced techniques. Director, Jon Beck, 3 X World Tumbling Champion, brings the most updated progressional system to the Kansas City area. If the proper steps are taken, this unique style of teaching allows children of all athletic abilities to be successful in our program. By insisting that all of our athletes take time to learn the important basics and progressions, we will produce stronger, faster and well rounded tumblers. Although our system may take a little longer at the basic levels, our rate of technical development at the intermediate and advanced levels is unmatched.
Developing more advanced skills without the proper progressions and basics will absolutely slow the success rate at a later time. Remember, all basic skills are progressions of advanced skills. "Patience is a virtue" and never more important than in all forms of gymnastics.
Levels at Xtreme
Power Tumble (Ages 6-12)
This class is designed to teach 1st - 7th graders cartwheels, handstands, round offs, and back hand springs! Class will take place on the floor as well as the TumblTrak to work on back hand springs and back hand spring progressions.
Cheer Tumble Beginner (Ages 13 +)
Want to make your 8th grade or high school cheer team but don't know how to tumble?! Don't wait until a month before try-outs! Sign up today for a Cheer Tumble Beginner class to start working on all the skills you will need to make the team! Skills learned include; Rolls, Cartwheels, Round offs, standing back hand springs, and round off back hand springs.
Cheer Tumble Advanced (Invitation/Evaluation only)
This class is designed for tumblers who have their round off, back hand spring, back tuck and are ready for layouts, whips, fulls, standing back tucks, and MORE! You must have an evaluation by Jon or Freddie before signing up for this class

Preschool Fun Time02/10/2012 10:00am
Preschool Fun Time is a special time at Xtreme just for preschoolers and their parents to come and explore the gym! Preschool Fun Time is from 10:00am-12:00pm and is just for children ages 5 and under. Children ages 6 and older will not be admitted for safety reasons. Admission is $7 for 3-5 year olds and $3 for ages 2 and under.
